have 2-3 inches of fresh snow and saw some strange but unique tracks this morning. Sorry i dont have picks but it has about 6-8 foot by 10" wide drag marks in the snow then the drag stopped then 4 fox like paw prints then this drag mark(there was also random paw prints in the drag marks) again there was about 12 inches between the drags. i thought a fox running pulling a rabbit, but i found no evidence of a kill, and i followed them for 3 miles. The drag marks are much to deep for a tail. i then thought an animal with leg trap caught on its tail, but i saw these tracks on a lake then 5 and 10 miles away in different driections. any thoughts?
