Full Version: 2006 switchback/ chaincase

put 174 miles on it got into deep snow and it slipped out of gear and piled up the chaincase. Suppose to have all updates on it.

I don't think the neutral problem has much to do with what you explained unless the dealer put something together wrong... The update changed the movable hub to stop it from popping out of forward and going into neutral. There is almost no possibility of it doing any damage when it happens, just falls out of gear. Sucks though, lets us know what they find.

I would ask your dealer install the updated hub and pinion and a new shift fork assembly.
