I find this site to be useful when I want to see snow amounts from around the state.

http://www.islandpond.com/vtwebcams.htm

Please note that near the top of the page it tells you "obey all traffic laws". It looks like IP has frozen but Willoughby is still open.

Nice site....Does Willoughby ever freeze over????
kingdmridr
Willoughby does freeze but because it is so deep not until the weather stays cold for a long time. On "normal" years there are trucks parked out next to fishing huts all over.

That being said, you'd never catch me on the narrow section between Pisgah and Hoar. It's the area of max depth (308 feet) and a serious wind tunnel....

Two of the IP cams no longer seem to be updating. Either that or the guy in front of the hardware store is frozen in place

Willoughby ice dosn't melt it just sinks to the bottom!

This is what we tell flatlanders when they ask why the water is so cold in the summer.

Do you live on willoughby? My cousin lives on peene hill rd.

I don't live on Willoughby, I just grew up in the area and would always go swiming there in the summer ...... more like a quick dip, muscles go numb if you swim for too long there smile.png .

That lake is out of controll. In the summer I drive by and watch those crazy mother f**kers climbing the moutian.
