can-amsledder
The list so far, Longspur, SupersonicFusion, Sledshed, edge-x man, Pete / ny with a couple buddies and myself.

With Longspur coming in from north of the border it might be a nice idea if someone could send him a PM with there phone number just in case he has trouble finding the place. I would but I won’t be home and I don’t have a cell.
Exciter570
There should be more of these. just logged on to find that there was a meet tonight, sounds great, sabres are on, wings, beer, but I'm too late.
pete/ny
Hey guys, great time tonite.Good company and GREAT wings. Can-Am- Thanks for the good job of putting this together. Met a good bunch of riders from the WNY area and as far away as Ontario. They are bored to as theres NO snow over there either. Hopefully we can all get to ride here together once (and IF?) the snows finally arrive. Hopefully next time we can get a few more NY riders to meet.

Western New York Riders

Middleport was the place to be tonight :div20: :beerchug: . If you missed the meet and Greet, no problem your always welcome.

Seven of us made it, swapped stories and experiences and planned on a group ride as soon as the snow arrives. :fluffy: :fluffy: :fluffy:

Hey guys, I had a great time, look forward to meeting up again with this great bunch of HCS from the Western New York area.

Hope everyone made it home safely.

That trail 104 is far better than the 31.

Thanks.
sledshed

edge-x man
Good time at Pony`s,with the HCS guys.....we will have to do it again soon.(Think snow and have a safe New Year.)
Supersonic_735
I'll make a post about the next WNY Beer & Wing nite.

We just need to decide when it would be good for most of us then give a 2 week notice with the new post.

Any sugguestions on a date?

Also, Maybe at a place more centrally located. While its conveiniant as hell for me to have it at Pony's, Maybe somewhere Lockport would be better for all dunno.gif

Either way, We need to hear from our Fearless leader: can-amsledder..........

And a Big birthday.gif longspur !!!
pete/ny
Supersonicfusion- Lockport would be better as Middleport was alittle far for some. But the wings and conversations were great! As for Can-Am Man I think I heard somewheres he had painted his driveway WHITE and was out riding his new REV on it!!!!!!! Geez-hope he didn't stud it!! Seeing we aren't getting any riding in, lets make this a get together a monthly thing if guys want.Lady riders are welcome also.
nuffer

When we decide on the next HCS event I hope there will be some snow on the ground :fluffy:

The only place I have ever been to in Lockport is a small place called Danny Sheehans the food was ok but really not a bar like setting.

:beerchug: :div20:

polaris_rules.gif seen this one posted by another fellow sledder , not sure if he meant it or not, LOL.

what about the Log Cabin in Indian Falls?

what about the Log Cabin in Indian Falls?

That will be a place on the sled trips, but the majority of us live in Niagara Co. Ofcourse we could get like 5 places and then rotate were we meet???????

If this thing really starts to grow (30+), we might want to look at a Firehall or VFW post dunno.gif
can-amsledder
What about the Pour Boys Grill & Tap on S. Transit. I have never been there but they advertise in the sled map. They are near where the trail crosses Transit.

Need more ideas. :celebrating:

I like that idea of supporting businesses that directly support snowmobiling in our riding areas.

:beerchug: Com'on guys...pick some place a bit more accessible,,,,some place in Amherst,,,or off the 990.

Gezzzzz.....after having a few :drunk: I don't want a 50 mile drive home. :burp:

I'm with Drifthopper on this one. I would like to go to one as well, but everything named is like a two hour drive for me. I was thinking different club events would be a good HCS meeting spot.

These places are even further for some of the southerners but some of the places we make stops at when riding are; Tuesday's Place-Cambria, or Johnstons-Ransomville.

The Ship (Ship and Shore) would be a good place, its only 4-5 min. from the 990. They are setup for large groups and I know a girl that works there, not sure how the wings are though. The further south you go from Niagara County the less snowmobile-friendly the place becomes, until you get to southern erie county. I like the idea of going to places you can access from the sled.

Is this for HCS people only? I have some hardcore sledder friends but they aren't computer or internet people.

We started this to meet some of our fellow Niagara Co/Ontario Canada sledders before we went on a ride(since there is no snow) But since there is interest from East and South of Buffalo, I'm sure a B & W nite for all of WNY
could be done!! And meeting in a central location would be cool too, I am willing to be a Des.Driver for a few people in Niagara Co. if needed. I'd really like to get to know all of you and be able to get some mutual contacts going so we can expand our rides and go to different areas.....
We have a contact list that longspur started and the bigger it gets the better IMO..... We really need a few sugguestions on a central location, or we could have a couple B & W nites...... One near each area. Until we get some significant snow fall, We are just meeting to get to know one another. After it snows, we will be able to go to a place on the trails...........

Its open to Good decent people/familys that want to get to know more Sled riders in WNY. I'm sure the majority would agree that the "Immature/Hell Raisers" can stay home.

That might be a good place. What about that people?????????

Until we get snow..... Anywhere the majority wants will work for me :div20:
edge-x man
WOW....This thing is getting alot of reponse :div20: count me in for the next one.(Pete/ny) I`m off to get some new slides from your neck of the woods today....you know that dealer on 104 ...lol.(close by).

It would be good to set up a few different ones. Maybe we can even hit some wing nights or something.

EDGEXMAN- see you got back from your roadtrip after the wing nite.I was just by "YOUR" dealer on #104 and he sure doesn't look like he has a stock of sleds or atvs in the corral. By the looks of the weather forecast-those sliders will be like new next Winter!! Hope not! Whats the plans for the next get-together"By the looks of everyone wanting to join in maybe we had better start looking to rent the AUD in Buffalo!! Our atv club when I was in it,used to meet at the Ship & Shore in Pendleton and it was a pretty nice place, food was good and they had a back room but not sure how many people it wouls seat.Another idea is many of us are Volunteer Firemen and maybe we could just go to a different Firehall once a month or whatever.Have the wings& Pizza delivered, meet, greet and clean-up and go! Any ideas, lets here them all!!
Supersonic_735
Thats a great Idea Pete.......... Looks like we are getting to the 20 -30 person range when you add the freinds of HCSer's in there.

I'll vote for the ship & shore

And as far as Rochester goes....... How about meeting in Batavia? Its right on the Thruway and easy to get to for all????????

I am all for Batavia, as it is close to me.

Ya....this thing seams to be snow ballin'...... :div20:

Can-Am, Sled head, Gary,,,,Just pick a location....cuz you know ya not gonna please everyone, it seems that people are interested in this from all over.

Just maybe keep in mind ...a place that easy to get to from the major routes.

This weekend sounds good to me!!!! :beerchug:

We need to settle on a date and location. :celebrating: Ship & Shore seems good for everyone, except for the guys to the south. I'm not sure there is anything in the middle. dunno.gif
pete/ny
NUFFER- Hello! Hey with a little luck and help from above--we may be able to ride our sleds ( DID I REALLY SAY THAT!!??) to the next designated eating/meeting place. Us up here in Northern Niagara County will most likely have to trailer them out but if theres SNOW that will be no problem.
