CrossRev
Wow, those look an awfully lot like Freestyles trau14.gif

They look more rider forward though. I'd probly ride one :beerchug:

I take this on DOOTalk:

We got the opportunity to test ride one of the new 08 test sleds
recently, BRP would only allow us this one photo they approved for
release, it doesn't show much but you can get a glimpse of the new rear
suspension. There are so many new changes to the REV it's unbelievable
- this new REV will be even more industry changing then the 03 REV was!

They
wouldn't allow us to open the hood or side panels, but the new motor
must be turbocharged or something, it revs to 10,500 RPM and has so
much power it's scary. We weren't sure what it was fueled by either,
the gas tank looked funny, we think it's propane??

The new front
suspension is totally redesigned, it's some type of multi link system
that has 15" of travel but the shocks only travel 6". And the new
instrument pod is incredible, it's all digital and includes EGT's,

air/gas ratio, two tach's - one for motor RPM and the other for drive
shaft RPM's, two temp out-puts, water and ambient and it records so you
can play back what your sled was doing.
JMac
fueled by propane?? could it be.
F-7 Dude
I think the rumors are more exciting than the actual sled, Did they mention the anti-gravity system when the trails get tooooooooooo bumpy? :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

They seem to share many styling similarities with the first gen rev's. Wind protection does not appear to be much of improvement, but I could be wrong. The front end looks like it has a shock mount position similar to the Lynx sleds and the a-arms looks like they are angled forward similar to the IQ.

I've not ridden one and I don't claim to be an expert, but there's absolutely no way the changes on the REV 2 will be as big of an impact on the industry as the first gen rev was. It may be a nice upgrade in the ride and handling department, but nothing super ground breaking. At least that's based on what I see in these pictures.

Thanks for the pictures.

it's not a REV anymore, not even REV2... it is an all new platform and believe it or not the ergo's are slightly relaxed compared to first gen rev's (so slight you can hardly tell without a measuring tape, though)...

the shock will be when they release what's under the hood... don't worry boys, it's comin and it's gonna be as far forward thinkin as the chassis... industry is in for a shock in a month or so...
Ouija
Those sleds are just getting worse and worse.

Looks like its made of legos. Suppose they won't be under 10k for a summit.
