I have an 06'600HO. I am trying to play with the rear suspension a bit. After my first ride it wasn't transfering weight very well. The guy I bought it from is around 280lbs. and I am 190lbs. so I think he had it too stiff for me. Is there 4 adjustments in the rear? What are the factory settings? I was going to put all 4 to medium, they are now all at high. I also spun up the front shock collars 1/2, will this help with heavy steering? It also is studded down the middle no outer, sorry I'm not sure how many. The torsion spring was at medium and it almost felt too stiff. I,m no jumper I mostly ride locally with no huge moguls, but do venture up to the mogul capital of the world Tug Hill. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

rememebr evrything you do is a trade off. these things steer hard to begin with. But to get more transfer you can start by locating your rear scissor stops to the setting that allows the arm to trvel the farthest back. let out the front limiter straps all the way, and add preload to the front skid shock, and by setting your torsion springs to softest preload.

But pulling the skis when throttling through a corner would be a bad thing.

here is alink to an old website to get a better understanding of what you are trying to do.

Clicky it has some basics with drawings, it will give you a good start on what to do

How many studs are in each row 2 or 3 or does it alterenate. If 3 in each row it is 144, 3 is 96 and alt is like 124.I wouldn't adjust everything at one time because if it gets worse you won't know what to undo.IMO do one or to adjustments then ride it then make more if needed.I have my rear sciccors on med low I couldn't keep the skis on the snow when I hit the gas.spring block are on high and frt track shock a 1/4 way up from the bottom and frt shocks like 5 or 6 threads from the bottom and it steers good.I'm 6ft and 235lbs

Thanks for the input. For studs I have woodys alternating 4 2. I did get a chance to go to my dealer today and look at the factory settings on one. The furthest forward rear stop is at high and the rear stop is at med. with the torsion spring also at medium. The front (ski) collars are just about an inch & 1/2 of thread showing from the bottom. The front track shock had about 25 threads showing from bottom. Oh and by the way I got to check out a dragon that was being delivered, man it's a bad idea to go to their! Sweet looking sled, they cleaned up the engine compartment nicely. That was a good article put's things in perspective for my adjustments, thanks .........
