What I don't get is if John Dee is so great, why haven't the tv stations spent their money on the equipment he has, or trained in the methods he uses?? Is he that much more accurate than meteorologists??
Weather is nothing but a best guess by anyone, and always subject to change.

Question it all you want D. Try and pay attention to his forcast this year and decide for
yourself. I have seen his forcast being more accurate than my local weathermans so

Guys, to me, be it my local weather men/women or John Dee, they are never right on the majority of the time. They can have all the latest and greatest equipment to date and cant predict what will happen with any real accuracy after 2 days out. 2 days is even pushing it most of the time...hell sometimes the same day or hours ahead of time is way off!
I personally think they still dont know enough about weather in General to be able to predict like we think they should. The weather information/computers/technology is only as good as the people who designed it.

the problem nowadays is all the networks have to try and scoop each other with the next " big" storm.they start 2-3 days prior, about "winter storm advisory", and all the radar and nexrad bullshit for the '' chance '' of 1-3 " of accummulation. and if there '' might be '' 3-6" possible then they start interupting programs and scrolling storm warning info across the screen. they try to hype weather patterns forming 10 days out in siberia that could, might, potentially pose a problem.
hell I remember when I was a kid, you knew you were in a snowstorm when the national gaurd would advise you not to leave the house because the plowtrucks were getting stuck trying to keep the hiways open.
now , we get an inch of snow and they cancell bingo. I dont get it
