I was wondering how hard it is to install a new track. I have a edge 03 xc 500 and i have never changed a track. I would like to do it myself. should i avoid this and have someone else do it.

Its not that hard,I would change the bearings while you have it tore down.3 bolts on speedo side and the bearing in the chain case,I did it my self in a few hours.

Changed mine last year, and had the same doubts. It was way easier than I thought it would be (would definately be easier with 2 people).
