Quebec riding started the 26th last year (for Shawinigan) and did not stop until almost April!

WOW, them crooks were stealing American sleds all the way into April.

it's damn hard to justify keeping these expensive toys in the toy box. if someone offered me a good price for my trailer and sleds i'd probably take it. i think this warming trend is only going to get worse. temperature records are breaking everywhere, icluding canada and europe. someone ought to develop a kit to convert sleds to quads, otherwise our sleds will soon be worthless.

I'm getting sick of looking at these stupid post about no snow. I've pretty much wore out the trail maps trying to arrange a ride that might not ever happen. You wanna know how bad it is, just look at the classifieds and you'll see a great deal of dissatified snowmobilers.

I am from NY originally and I moved to Quebec 8 years ago, and the theft is a problem. On the other hand if you are aware of the issue and make sure that you stay at secure hotels then there is no issue, it is very documented which places are better than others.. Well trails open tomorrow down here and theres plenty of green grass to go around. Weather outlooks also not looking good. It might be time for a wheeler if this crappy weather keeps up.

I've got about 35000.00 invested in snowmobiles and trailer I'm going to Mt.Valin Quebec from the 26th-30th of dec. I can't waite for the whether to straiten out here. I,ve got a camp on tug hill and I hope I can ride out of it sometime this winter

The only place you can ride in Que. right now is mont Valin which is very limited. The rest of the province in unridable, the lakes aren't even frozen yet,and the long range looks bleak. Hopefully it changes soon. :beerchug:

I am giving up on even watching weather, just getting used to it now. But am ready to dot the next asshole that says "I hope it stays like this all year, this is great" that is really starting to get to me. Your in NY you want it like this all year go south. I totally agree with you, everyone says "this weathers beautiful isnt it ". I answer them, this sucks. This is Central NY , almost Christmas and your happy with no snow. It's getting to be poltically incorrect if you want it to snow. I hate watching the weather in Syracuse, because it seems like every weather man is the same way, all excited about high temperatures. Like it or not this is global warming, its only going to get worse.

amen brothers. i too get very irritated at warm loving people, especially the clown weather men. if you want warmth, head to freaking florida. 75% of the reason I moved up here was to get cold and snow and i be damned if the warmer weather didn't follow me.

yeah and i also bought the kid a sled this summer so i then had to buy a 3 place trailer. that really did us all in. sorry. btw, i lived in pa and va prior to here. i'd never make it in florida.

this weather sucks, it is scary to think about also......It just gets worse n worse n worse.

been reading quebec forums and they could have major problems with this warm weather. evidently many of their trail systems interconnect with frozen lakes and if they do not freeze soon it'll be too late for the season. you know we're in deep doo doo if canada's having problems with warm weather.

i didnt hear about any storm anywhere near ny. i looked at the 15 day forecast for what thats worth and the beggining of jan is supposed to cool down a bit- high of 38 low of 26. i guess its a start......
