Anyone have one of those Tempa Flow kits from Holtzman Engineering installed n there sled? I'm thinking of one but don't have any feedback on the unit. Seeing how awkward it is to change jets on the the 600 ho (getting to them that is) I'm wondering if this is the answer.

There is a ton of info on that around here. Search in the Fusion section for info on the HO setups.

one of the very few products that actually works as advertised... i consider it mandatory on an carb'd sled... i've been using them since 2000 and they flat work

do some searches on other forums as well... check the edge/xc forum, doo forums, cat forums, etc... you'll find similar responses...

fwiw - it can be had for about 125 bucks, in one season the fuel mileage savings paid for it (not to mention never ever having to rejet for changing conditions even on a moded engine)... my xc5sp went from 10.5mpg stock to 14.5mpg under the same riding... my pro-x7 went from 9.5-10 stock up to about 13.5mpg (and that's after having pipe, head, reeds, and adding a 136x1.75" track with 1.90 gearing)... roughly 30-40% fuel savings, not to mention spot-on jetting in any weather... i've used the same jetting from -27degrees all the way up to 45 above and it stays crisp and clean... don't believe me, fine, do more searches and you'll find many others with similar results... the ones that aren't getting good results are the ones who have mis-installed the product or have jetting that is WAY off...

I couldn't get the Tempaflow calibrated properly on my SB. I'm beginning to think it was because of the VForce reeds installed in the sled. Problems occured with a low end lean bog. I tried every possible adjustment and it wouldn't eliminate the bog. It wasn't until I installed a big bore kit did the Tempaflow work. It's still not perfect. Periodically I still get a bog that isn't present with the unit removed. I've recieved a lot of pm's from others who are having the same issue.

Thanks for the advice.

I ran one on my SRX for 4 seasons and one on my ZR 800 for two seasons and I can say it was one of the best mods I ever did for any sled. Much better fuel economy and they always ran good weather it was 40 degrees or -20 and I never had to rejet.

Could someone tell me what a Tempa Flow is? Can an average guy install it.
Thanks,
Craig
