I have a 07 Summit and was looking at buying a new set of skis. I've run the Razors in the past but I'm not familiar with the XT's or the Sly Dog skis. If you have any experience with either let me know what you think. I mostly ride at Summit or Cantwell. I don't want a ski that darts while carving. Thanks in advance for your help. Vern

Both are great ski's. I have had the XT's and they were tough as nails and railed. They were a bit heavy but you wont find a ski that will take the abuse they do or handle on and off the trail like them. As for darting, they didnt, none what so ever.

The sly dogs i havent had before but have rode a sled with them. They were a great ski, lightweight, nice design, easy steering effort. A little to flimbsy for my tastes though. My friend that had them loved them but said they flex alot and get a lot of vibes on the trail but other than that a great all around ski too.

I dont think you will go wrong with either to be honest. Check them both out and see what you like about them. I like the deeper keel and stiffer feel of the XT but that is my opinion. Hope this helped. :div20:

I have a set of 7" Slydogs. I really like them off trail, They are light weight and very manueverable. They have a really aggessive keel on them made for riding in loose snow, this also reduces the need for running longer carbides. This keeps the ski weight down but would explained thier on-trail performance. I got them from Go big parts, complete to the door was $418 and he custom blended the colors I wanted and it only took 2 weeks for them to make and ship.

Man, you two both have some good replies here. I appreciate the feedback but now I'm torn. I am leaning a little more toward the XT's. When I do get the skis I'll be sure to post a pic. Thanks guys.
