well here in central MN we had about 2-3 inches and i was starting to think we where gunna get enough snow to ride...but i was wrong. yesterday and today where close to 50 and 90% of the snow is gone. but that usually happens here every year. we get 2-3 inches early, it melts, then we get dumped on soon after....but i have been paying close attention to the weather since the 1st of Dec. and according to more than one place we arnt gunna have snow by christmas. or enough to ride. at this rate im starting to wounder if we are ever goin to get snow. :burp: im just saying whats on my mind. :burp:

1 week till the first day of winter yet so I don't usually get to worked up about the forcast, they are never right anyway.

Look at it this way - I was just watching some home videos. It was February 24th, 1998. It was 64 degrees outside (In our backyard), and I was riding a bike outside with my sister and some friends. There was no snow, and the grass was brown.

64 degrees on February 24th, 1998. I'm looking at 40 not so bad! :P

I remember that day. Was that el nino that made that happen? Our snow is melting, oh well gives me time to fix my sled I guess.

The forecast is pretty shitty as of now. But you know, the best snowfalls usually spring up out of nowhere.

Yup they do, gotta still do the snow dance at night before bed tho.. Just to help it out some...

the thing that pisses me off is when the weather people say: "well folks, it's going to be 45 tomorrow so all the snow will melt" with a big smile on their face.

AAARRRRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

i wish i could jump through the TV and strangle them!!!

i'll seriously sit there and swear at them until they get off the screen. ( i know, pointless but it makes me feel better and it's kind of funny afterwards when you think about it!!)

ah well, going out west in 14 days so at least i have that to look forward to i guess.

Today is even f-ing worse. Rain and f-ing 40 degrees what a bunch of shit !!!!!!!!! I'm with you Sledneck when I see these weather morons smiling when they say it's going to be 40 and bright sunshine with NO snow in sight I want to reach through the TV and strangle the bastards. Hell, by this time last year I had 300 miles on already. At least I can say I can't break shit now.

I have been working on sleds since May. Longtracking, studding, new motor mounts, polishing.

It is starting to feel like when I was a kid and spent hours glueing and painting those little plastic models. It sure looked cool but ya can't drive it!

UN-F-INGBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!! Damn this thing is quick!!!! I'm glad that the wife drives it every day, if I drove it I'd have a glove box full of tickets!!! Going down the northbound 35 entrance ramp in Forest Lake I took off from a dead stop and by the time I was at the bottom I was at 95 mph!
