I just purchased a 2006 Arctic Cat Panther 660 4-stroke (In Crate).
I'm not into the jumps and Highmarking that most of the young generation is into. I prefer to take the scenic route. Myself and the wife will get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
I could have purchased a T660 but would have had to pay 11,779.00, but I had the chance to purchased this 660 for a few grand cheaper(year older).
Anyway, I would like opinion. i'm a big boy now so feel free to speck your mind.

Well the engine is bullet proof that is for sure. I have 2 660 turbos, one two up and an ST, and I must say the seats are a bit more comfy after a long ride. my buddy has a panther and there is a big difference in the seats. Watch out don't let your wife drive to much or you'll be buying another sled, I started with the two up then I had to buy another sled so I could drive. :beerchug:

Thanks for the input there Mr. freeze.
I agree with your views on the 4-stroke. Myself and a fellow worker, have been using 2004 4-strokes 660's at work and where we average 50 Miles(125KM) per day.
Except for usually maintance, I have no problems.

Solid 20+mpg
only issues in 3500miles is the chaincase oil seal/leak
He reclutched it to his favored riding style
Its a stump puller :div20:

Hay freezer tell him to add a touch of brake fluid to the chain case it will swell the seals and stop the leak.
