I know the 04's had some problems. Need case drilled, water shaft gear. How are the 05-07 IQ 440's? Any problems? What the best year for 440? Power, reliability, tuning? thanks

well don't know much about the 07 yet but usually it goes 05 is better that 04 and 06 os better than 05 etc so id say the 07

talking just the motor, or the whole sled?? Whats better really depends on how you're riding it.

98-99 440s were probably the best performance 440 Polaris made next to the 440 Fan. Although I guess if you know how to set the newer ones up they can be just as good.

id say it all depends on what you are gunna be using it for, as for trail converting the 02 and 03 were the best and easiest for trail converting, yes the cases needed to be drilled or replaced with 02 or 03 cases on the 04 440, as for racing more than likely it would be the 07 IQ that would be best.

well i race and ride a 2006 polaris 440 IQ and the only negative i see in it is the cornering. on the 07 it is a lil bt easier but i just feel the 06 gets better holeshots.. thats just my two cents.
