I've got a 2001 XC SP 600 and it runs great...the 600 VES motor is a good one...I've run with other 600's, 700's and can stay right with the strongest of them...also been able to give some 800's fits.... there are lots of nice sleds out there......but, this is the best sled i've owned to date

My brothers both had 2001 XC 600s. They both performed very well. As long as you take care of them, they are very dependable. Rob, the guy who started this whole site, rode one 10,000 miles in one season with minimal trouble. Just look it over good before plunking down cash.

I have one currently and so far is the best sled I have owned.Polaris has finally built a sled chassis that no way compares to any chassis in the past. There is a coolant hose update, temp switch update, and the shocks came factory way out on valving.Front end felt like you are riding a leaf springer.Take care of these items and it's awesome.I have around 3500 miles. My opinion Polaris built a sled that fits me like a glove(seat ,handlebars, and looked like a racer).Worth every penny.
