I bought a Hawkeye last month. Put about 15 miles on it over the course of a week. I went back to the dealer to p/u the front brush guard and he asked me what I thought of it. I told him it rides like a sex toy. If I knew it would vibrate so badly I would have never purchased it in the first place. Now, I make the claim of vibration out of owning a Sportsman, which is very smooth from an engine vibration stand point. Dealer stated it would probably work itself out as it is broken in, and they have not had any complaints about engine vibration yet. I am a bit skeptical, but I guess time will tell.
The lights seem to aim a little low, even after adjusting them up as high as they will go, and it would appear that after adding the front brush guard, it might even make the light projection worse. I don't mind getting an after market light kit though.
Other than that, I took it through some of the nastiest crap imaginable (cranberry bogs and cedar swamps) and it kept up with the Sportsman every step of the way. I never had to use it's full potential to get me where I needed to go. The independent rear suspension is SWEET, although the stock tires leave a little to be desired.
Overall, I like, and if the vibration problem works itself out, I'll love it.
