Has anyone had their firecat stolen and if so how much did you get from your insurance? Mine was stolen last week and i'm waiting for the adjuster to tell me how much.

How about details. whats your location? where was the sled stolen from? We would be watching for it. Also this should be posted in the stolen sled forum.

look around an find out what they are going for with simular miles, any extras, keep prices and proof so you have info to counter the adjusters price. Now the bad news get ready to wait 30 days so they can see if its recovered. Had my 95 wildcat stolen right before the season and had to buy one before the insurance came in, but would have wound up with two sleds if they got it back, never have to this day!

An F7 was stolen this past summer in Ontario. It was bought in Feb. so had only just a month+ use and low miles. Paid over CA$10,000.00 and fought for ~CA$5,000.00 from the insurance, even after arbitration. Plus another sled was stolen at the same time along with the enclosed trailer they were in.
Insurance co. said it's three separate claims and wouldn't renew his policy for 2004 due to high claim frequency.
One event = three claims, no previous claims either, be it sleds, home or auto's.
Don't them insurers just suck!
