Some opinions please for studding an 1 1/4 track
I am going to use Woody Gold Diggers with Double Backers and Tall nuts.
Some say 1.325 some say 1.450....with a track profile of 1.250''.

Going in my 04 XC 700...Just for trail riding...and a few blasts down Fielding against Whoop Ass...

Well if your track profile height is 1.250. You should stay with the recommended 1.325 :div20: especially for trail riding IMO.

I don't know what the XC tunnel looks like but if you have the space from the exchangers and bulkhead I'd go with the bigger ones. You'd have to use the extra tall nuts on those for sure. I just studded my new 136x1.25 with 1.325 studs, that's all the rev tunnel will handle with 10t drivers. It's really not enough penetration for any serious traction, just for added safety. IMO anyway :div20:

I would go with 1.5..that's if you have the clarence, if you can't swing the 1.5 go with the biggest size that you can swing. You should have 1/4" over your lug if you looking for good hook-up.

I ran 192 1.450s in my 900 last year, just dont spin much when their is low snow or rocks.awsome hookup on frozen snow and ice.their is lots of tunnel room, dont run the track too loose,it will balloon and can hit the front heat exchanger(1.325 will do this also).
