I agree it will be beat tomorrow that's why I rode today...the cold temps today really helped everything stay together, but areas getting direct sun were already starting to melt through.
NOTE: the trail from the Q&EZ to Smith road is sporting about 2" of powder at best, lots of frozen ruts, Rose of Sharon pricker bushes and some open water...fortunately it's a short ride and once your off the plowed part of Smith Road conditions improve
More conditions...there is logging activity on the east end of Plummer road...the road has been plowed and was very icy today look out for the logger's equipment. Also up in Barnes Corners the west end of Waite has been plowed and the sun today burned off much of the marginal base

if it weren't so far from Glens Falls i would have gone today too. I would have had to go alone but that's nothing new. Looks like it would have been worth it. Tomorrow will be nuts i guess and they'll be beat. I've always said i'll never go up there on a weekend. oh well i guess i wait.

I agree no weekends for me...except if it's a 7AM to Noon ride...I'm lucky to live so close

Well the trails were open today, I went up with a couple buddies and put 100 miles. The trails and seasonal roads weren't bad for the first ride. There were some big mud puddles and open water in spots, the corners were getting real ice in spots and a few trails were starting to get bare. I don't imagine them being any good after this weekend.

We rode yesterday and yes the trails are getting beat up. The temps are gonna kill what they have this week, but it was still great to get out for an early run.
