I am wondering whether or not anyone has successfully put twin pipes on a 2002 zr 600 efi? I know that in order to do so a boondocker box is required as the "Chip" is no longer accessible. I also know that clutching changes will have to be made. Just inquiring if anyone has got a setup to work as I was able to pick up a set of black magic twin pipes for a 2001 zr 600 for a decent price and had them refinished. I am aware that "actual" pipes were not made for this sled by black magic, but based upon my brief measure up, I believe that they will fit. I do not see any reason they wouldn't because the 2001 and 2002 zr 600 chassis' are the ZR3 chassis. Any response is greatly appreciated.

Call SLP and see what they say. Chances are they made the pipes for BM anyways. Let us know what you find out.

I have D&D twins on my '03 800efi with a 900 top end and a boondocker box. Seems like it would be easy enough to do your 600.
