What is going on with the prices of aftermarket pricing.Big bore kits$4000.00 or more. How much more of this can go on before the bottom falls out! I think its gotten really out of hand. Don't get me wrong here because I have a plentiful share of aftermarket products on my sleds. But I'm starting to cut back on items because of the pricing. When you pay on the average of$ 5800.00 for a new sled and then want to fondel it a little you have to talk to your banker to see how far you can go.I think there should be an uprising on this and everyone should stop buying for a while.I mean I put a 200hp nitrous kit in my car last summer for about $400.00 and they want in upwards of $800.00 bucks for my Cat! Insane, Where in the justification. Some of us do have a problem when it comes to performance. But thats another issue, there are therapists for that, and help lines also. STEP back and take a look at what you are paying. And boy does it stink like burnt waffles or what!!!!

I hear you 100% on what your saying MODZRT. Big bore kits for triples are insaine priced. I been looking for a used set of pipes for my tcat for some time cause i dont want to spend $800 on a set. I know people with sleds that have the cost of the sled new plus mod. motors they dropped in with all new suspension and ski's etc.... They have 2x's the cost of the sled put in to these sleds and will never get close to that not even half back. In alot of instances alot of aftermarket places when it comes to big bores and internal parts you bought wont even warranty there stuff cause its a modification... Spend big$$$$ and they wont back there stuff up. I guess some places would rather sell 3 items at the cost of $4,000 an item then sell 20 of them items for half the price. I know it takes time and money to make and sell this stuff but sometimes the prices are rediculous... you gotta pay to play imo.gif

Im pretty well building my sled from used parts. got the can, and some other little things. but the gears and reeds are new. im going to peice togheter a clutch kit instead of a real kit beceuase most places want 400 plus for a kit, when for about 100 I can get the excact same thing.

Here in sweden where I live, modīs are pretty uncommon... The main reason for this is the insane Wow1.gif prices.

If you double what you pay, and then add some, thats what we pay for most parts/modīs.

Example: For my ZRT, Iīll have to pay 1500-1900usd for a set of pipes.... A heel-clicker clutch-kit is 400-500usd... well, you get the picture.

Iīm never buying aftermarket parts/modīs in Sweden again.... Even with shipping, toll and VAT, itīs half-off if Iīm buying from U.S or Canada.

Happy Sledding (to you, I have no snow yet)
