Would the new cat clutches use the same spider rmoval tool used on the 94 -95 cat clutches?

the four wgt. clutch is only on the new 1000 engine. The others still have three wgt. primaries. Not sure about the tools required thought.

Yes I know,, I thought that was what he was refering to since these are the only new clutches in a while,,,R2R

I guess I should of explained more. I was referring to the clutches used since 1994 and up to now excluding the 4 roller set up as I didnt know it existed . Thanks for the responses

From what I can tell in the BM book, says the Grunt tool works with the new Arctic/ comet , 102&108 clutch, so it sound the same to me,, book is03,,hope this helps,,R2R

you might check the parts fiche on Browns and see if the 1000's spider nut is the same part number as past and present models.
I haven't heard what taper is used on the newer clutches so the holding tool may differ? 30mm, 33mm, ??mm dunno.gif
