Hey UCOP27, The idea is to try and pick up all the colors of you sled with accesories without getting to gaudy. I see you have many colors to go with and a green ski with purple ski tip may look good. Or you may want to bring out the orange. It all comes down to personal preference, play around with it and if you don't like them you can always exchange them. But I always found great deals on ski tips, consoles, and skid plates on e-bay. GOOD LUCK, SCOTT :div20:

I ride a 93 Wildcat 700 and I am going with purple. I was going to go with green however if you have to leave the sled out doors for any amount of time ...as I do the green is the quickest color to fade. The other reason is the 93 Wildcat decals came to a purple point in the front so my colors are going to accent each other nicely. The ZRT's (all of them) had orange as a predominant color. In my opinion you want to accent that color. Also orange traditionally holds its color better. The black skis with orange loops may look the best
Either way the zrt 600 is a winner!
Unless you line it up against a w-cat he he

1.25" lug camoplast track, so far so good, seems to hook up pretty good. :beerchug:

Nice! I just installed a 1.25" Camoplast track also w/ 192 1.375" studs. I've only been out for a small ride but it seemed to hook up really well.

NO studs for me, the reason for the new track is cos a stude let loose and ripped a nice hole in the front heat exchanger. This sled is still new to me but this thing really wants to gooooooo, not like the old boggie wheel sleds. You haven't had any problems running studs?

Thanks for the input guys, but my dealer kinda made my decision for me, black ski kits are out of stock and on back order, nobody in the area had black, and i am going riding somehwere tommorow night, so green with black handles it is. Just hope the green skid plate won't be too much green up front, i am also going to add green running boards, so maybe that will even the colors out a little.

oh man dont scare me w/ the studs hitting the heat exchanger.. That is my worst fear! I just got this sled and only put like 20 miles on it.
Looks good w/ the green skis!

Ok, i won't say antoher word about it. I guess you just need to maintain them, i am not sure the previous owner of my sled did any maintenance to the studs at all. :fluffy:

so what's the story on how the studs actually hit the exhanger? And do you have to remove the motor to install a new heat exchanger?

Not sure exactly how it happened, i bought the sled with it like that, no pulling of the motor, just removed the track and suspension, undo the hoses in the engine compartment, drilled the rivets out, then slid that bad boy out, the hardest part was trying to get the hoses back on in the engine compartment, as you know there is little room to work in there, but i got it done. With all that it going on it was a good time to repace the bearings.

black and orange :div20: i put a stud thru 01 polaris and pulled the motor to weld the heat exchanger not fun but do-able :banghead:
