If its warm out, your jets may be too fat and it's flooding. Usually when you have to hold the throttle that means it's got too much fuel.

is this on a 600?

This topic was covered extensively last season, But I did not pay attention to what the fix was.

I know some went smaller on the pilots and mains on this sled,

try the "search" function.

On our Fusion 600 you have crack the throttle. When I start them in the preseason in 50-60 degree weather I don't have too touch the throttle, it starts and idle's.

My wife sticks her glove between throttle and handlebar - just a little, since she can't pull it over with one arm.

She got this tip from my friend's wife that has an XC700.

Yes, there are some adjustment tips somewhere around here. Just type in 'hard starting' or something and a few big threads will come up.

It's a jetting issue. Too fat down low. I also didn't pay attention to the fix as reported on here last season. (didn't know there was gonna be a test later...lol) Do some searching, as the fix is here.....somewhere.

Not the suggested method..........I know of two sleds that went off without the rider doing that. Both times it was not good.
