Fellas,
My buddy has a yamaha warrior that only has about 1100 miles on it and ever time he goes into a corner or when he slows down the sled is bogging down and will not let him hit the gas again until it stops. What the hell is the deal and what needs to be done? I thought it might need a valve adjustment. All your wisdom is needed. thanks!

make sure the secondary clutch is working correctly and not binding.

i know nothing bout the new yammis but it sounds like a clutching problem to me, a worn or broken secondary spring and/or buttons could be the problem. a stiffer seting or spring would probably help alot.

It is the T.O.R.S (Throttle Override System) Look it up in the owners manual. Take it to the dealership if it is brand new. If you have a next time also check the digital odometer and it will flash the error code to you.
When put together and set up they throttle cable is too tight and engaging the override. My dads Apex did this the first time out. I havent had any problems with my vector or phazer yet but it is common.
Especially since you say it is coming on in the corners. Easy fix but definitely annoying when on the mountain.

I agree with the TORS diagnosis because when you let the throttle off quickly as when cornering that is when it engages. Sometimes snow behind the throttle will cause that to happen because it is a two-stage throttle. I think there is a way to disconnect the TORS by pulling the wire off the back of the handle-bar padding. I did this on my v-max.
