My 3 riding partners and I just booked our trip to St_zenon for the first week of January. zTalked to them yesterday, they have 8 inches right now, and was calling for another 6-8 yesterday...they will have about 60 miles of trails open this weekend...and hopefully more to come before January!

Just a word of advice....you may want to make sure you lock up that big yellow F350 Dually and 6 place trailer that you CAN'T MISS (I'm sure the thieves won't miss it either :banghead: ) St. Zenon is notorious for thefts! :div20:

Far be it from me to defend the Cabanon Motel, but let me say this. Last year the theft in the Lanaudiere region was way way down. Let's not get this theft talk go to our heads again. The longer I'm around, the more I believe that it is the owner's responsibility to prevent theft. Do all you can do, then live your life. But yes, the numbers are down dramaticaly since the murder of Crazy Al and Danny. The Police presence has been stepped up since then, and the bad guys have been keeping a very low profile. Don't forget... you can say what you want, but that area has great trails. I hear they will open some trail early - it will be hard early season riding, but no doubt, there will be bits that are unforgetable and well worth it for some. Still, remember the ice may not be too thick, watch out for loose rocks, and branches. Think Safe! Ride safe - Ride sober. zw

Black escalade...big f350 dually....this is a good invitation to the bad guys there are some nice used vehicles to be had if they are smart enough to be reading this forum. Just some good advice... while the cabanon might be plenty safe...its a wise idea to keep an eye on them at all times if possible if planning any stops on the way there. Have a safe trip and keep us posted on the riding conditions....i have some friends heading up in that area in a couple more weeks.

You can "afford" it you just choose not too. $15K/month in income and you can't afford a $550 lease for a truck

You can you just choose not too....
I'm not bashing either side just saying peoples priorities are in different places at different times in their lives....

i'd agree with that, some people like debt and others hate it. I would never spend 50% of my income on payments but it's not uncommon around here to see that happen.

wow i wish i made half of 180K a year cost of living must be alot in NH cuz thats alot of money you make and you cant afford those things... ? gotta remember the only things that are mine are whats in my SIG. the truck and trailer is my best friends dads not mine as for 2002silverex i dont know but no my payments arent cheap on my truck or bike... but w/e i work everyday and i cant take the $$$ i make with me so i might as well spend it now and have a GOOOOD time
