There is a date for when the trails open? News to me. I thought it was always when there is enough snow to ride on the trail.

Dec 15th is when grooming reimbursement starts.

We all wonder when the date for "snow" starts.

Trails open in 8 days. Someone needs to tell mothernature to stop with the above normal temps. Looks like the next couple of weeks will bring mild temps again. I want to ride...

We dont need no stinkin' grooming! All we need is at least 6 inches of packed snow and GO MAN GO!

The groomers can catch up later. :div20:

Ground still isn't freezing that much in the woods trails... don't expect much grooming right away.... the only thing firm enough right now is the woods roads and drier farm fields... woods and swamps aren't even close yet.

All right. Sitting on the couch last night watching a program on winter tourism in NH and Canada and it hits me. What we need is for someone to step up to the plate on this one. We need someone to sacrifice thier sleds to the Snow Gods. I'm not talkin torch em or destroy em. Just sell em off. Who's gonna step up? BTW who's the idiot that bought new sleds? Huh? That's sure to piss of the Gods............

I heard a rumor today that they are panning the rr bed in Fort Kent, getting it flattened down.. :div20:
