I have a race can on my sled. Its been on all of my sledds that I`ve had. So it has about 8000 miles
on it. Will it hurt the motor if its blown out{back presure wize} , Its pretty loud now and was wondering
if I should garbage it and put on the stock muff??? or is this thing still safe to use ???Thanks dunno.gif

those things are pretty loud when new, if it were me, I'd put the stocker back on and pick up that couple of horsepower you lost when installing the noisemaker. I can smoke all my buddies with there aftermarket pipes with my stock shit anyway. Ride harder, not louder.

I highly doubt it will do any damage at all - other than extra noise. Probably worse case scenario would be it would cause it to run a little bit richer - colder pipe - maybe a little longer warm up.

If you dont' mind the noise level, leave it on. If ya can't stand the noise anymore, put your stocker back on. AS for losing power, regardless of which can you put on, I doubt you will notice any increase or decrease the silencer would provide. 1-2 HP doesn't equate to fug' all by the time you get it to the track. :beerchug:

The noise dont bother me, I like it. I was just wondering about flow caracteristics the can would have now with
the age that it is. Concerned with possibly hurting the motor with the less back presure. If it dont hurt none than it stays on. No probs in my riding area with noise bylaws. Loud pipes save lives.

if your motor goes then it was ready to go, the can wont cause it too, ride hard AND LOUD! BRAAP
