I agree, too much too late perhaps
Last time i checked ski-doos 800R was puttin out 151 hp.
Only the mountain sled has the 151 HP engine....Flatlanders get the same old 140 hp version.

in a mountain sled, 140 in the 800 P-Tech..... who knows wether or not it (the 151 HP motor) will make it to a flat land sled... the 800 cat in the mountain sleds have also dynoed at 150, again who knows if they will tune the sleds for us flat landers to have 150+ HP either.. IMO they are both in the same boat.

I am new to this, but from what I have heard a perfect 2003 F7 will kick the crap out of anything on the trail. I think it is great that AC has some competition, it is always nice to have another sled to throw around the block!
On the trail, it's waaay more rider than it is sled. I would NOT be afraid to ride with/against anyone when it comes to trail riding...even with riding my "tugboat" that would never be able to compete with an F-7!

I sure hope you're joking. The F7 was probably one of the most overrated engines in the history of snowmobiling (In terms of how much power it made). Most of them were lower 130's and a few of them hit 140 HP. Arctic Cat always claimed 140 HP.
You do realize I hope that all of those wins was not just because of the engine, but because of how it got put to the ground.
Ding ding ding.....we have a winner. The flimsy, but very fast/efficient F-cat chassis had more to do with the speed of a Fire-rat than did the engine that Suzuki built for it............................
