Had to find out for my self the conditions on the hill even after people said not to go and glad I did go! BUT I would tell everyone else to stay home. There was only one other track the entire day untill we passed 2 others at the trailer! After our tracks and a few trucks, it was down to nothing!! Some roads were sweet while others were 2mph, it all depended on what type of gravel/stone the road was! The most snow was around Montague, around the Gorge there was half as much! Huge snow storm on the way home going through Pulaski, they have twice as much snow now as Montague, but no seasonal roads, no sure about the the state park/forest! All and All, I am glad I went to see snow for the first time this season and get 50 miles, but I would not go back and tell everyone else to stay home!!

I saw you guys when you were leaving Flat Rock and heading towards Montague...must have been around 2:30/3:00. I was stopped (riding a black Sabercat) talking to a guy on a Yamaha when you were heading west on Flat Rock.

The snow on 81 was nasty, saw a car go off the road and saw a tractor trailer jackknifed off the road south of Pulaski

I have to agree...just not enough snow for great riding...but I still had a great time. The good news is there are no bumps!

The ruts from trucks driving on the seasonal roads are the biggest problem. Number Nine Road and North road going from Talbots Corners to Highmarket was the best I rode on all day.

Ah what the hell I'm going back up Thursday...75 miles today just not enough

Was that your chevy avalanch that passed me on 81(we stopped for some food)? I had the black silverado, also parked next to you at montague? Where are you from, says SU in profile! We came from Rochester!!
SABERMAN
Yup that was me. I'm from Camillus, a suburb west of Syracuse. I'm riding Thursday with a friend from Rochester...ever had Pizza from Mark's?
dooracer500

I work in Syracuse and one of our salesman who lives real close to Tug told me this morning that people are riding in Osceola, he heard they got 2 feet of the white stuff. I'm sure it's all powder but if my shocks come back by Friday, I'm going to give it a shot.

No lax here. A lot of my friends played but I never got into it. Playing lacrosse at WG is like going into the military. 5 am practices on weekdays and all kinds of crazy stuff.

CHRIS6641- You graduated a long time ago haha. The school is so different now it is crazy. I have family right off Onondaga road.

Yeah the kids across the street from me played so I saw the years of dedication first hand...one graduated 2 years ago and now plays at Lemoyne the other graduated last year and now plays at OCC.

Cancelled the ride for tomorrow...34 degrees in Copenhagen right now...the warmth today will have all the roads between Montague and Highmarket close to bare based on what I experienced yesterday...I'm headed back up Tuesday and again on Wednesday if the weather works out.

Is Griffin the last name possibly SABERMAN? I graduated with someone that played lax and ended up at OCC for lax, I could be wrong.
