Is it possible to split open the airbox on a 600 HO without busting all the little tabs off? I looked inside mine the other night and would like to clean it out as it's full of crap. I'm afraid that pushing down on the tabs will cause them to break and then I'll be SOOL... Any tricks?

not the easiest thing to do, but mine went way easier when I heated up the tabs with a heat gun. probably woudn't hurt to put some sort of sealer between the case halfs when it gets snapped back together as it looks like this unit doesn't seal real well to begin with.

One of my buddies put nitrous in in 600HO switchback and they plumbed it into the airbox so they had to split the box. He just went with some black epoxy and sealed it back up with that. I'm pretty sure he broke his tabs off.
