If you find the bog, let me know. I had the occasional bog off the line also. I had it to the dealer at the end of last season to see if they could figure it out. They thought it may have been in the cutching?? Have to check it again this season. Never did see anyone on here exactly pinpoint what to check?

you say you have a speedwerks clutch kit on the xfire did you notice a big difference than the stock one, Im in the process of looking at kits for my xfire. I had a ODS clutch kit on my firecat and loved it but im not sure if ODS has one for the xfire yet what do ya think?

I spent this week as my first on my XF700 too, never driven anything close to a 700 before, let alone brand new and MAN this thing can rip your arms off with it's takeoff! I feel like I'm driving a missle, smooth acceleration too, not jerky. Throttle-->zap GONE.

i really like the speedwerx clutch kit i have never tried a ODS but i am sure Dan has a great clutch kit also the speedwerx takes off about 4200 and has great pull through low and midrange get off throttle and back on it is right there dont lose anything really any clutch kit out there will probally do your sled good as they are pretty close just what company you want to go with IMO

periods and commas. PLEASE. I can barely read that jumbo-rumble-sentance.
But seriously, you'll find that up to 500 miles every time you go out, it will be quicker and quicker. It does fly every nice too. I am very interested in hear more about the clutch kit. Post what kind of top end you are getting after you have it broken in, and with that kit, what belt are your running?

I had a bog on my Crossfire 7 last year, after checking out a few things I found it was too rich on the oil. My dealer leaned it down and it made the bog go away and worked a lot better after.

Make sure your belt deflection is very tight, almost squealing at idle. Seems that and a maladjusted oil injection unit are to blame for the dreaded bog.
