The bear has been graded its entire length,this was finished last wed.The issue of the locked gates at the pipeline has been resolved,they will be opened today. I have recieved the go ahead to begin grooming operations on this trail and the connector to Alba.The Porta-johns will be set at the M72 stageing area by the week end. :beerchug:

Nancy moved them into the carport with the other 4 bags,figured if you were comming , it should be worth your time !

Also,all of this work on this trail was a group effort, there are a lot of unnamed people who have a ton of time and sweat in on this project Two of them are up on the connector right now panning and putting up snow fence. My biggest hope is that this trail will be much more fun to ride this year.

How's the snow at starvation lake and on the Blue Bear? I'm heading up tomorrow.

The trail change on the Alba connector near Cinder Hill Rd is really sweet. Much better than the old route along the road. Has that trail always been there?

Part of it is an old oil/gas well road,some of it is new. That is actually only about half of what we planned . the re is another 1.5 mi. that will be all new thru the woods. We got approval too late this year to put it in.

Hows this ? I just ran outside and took this just for HCS ! I had it all cleaned off sat afternoon after the 10" we got friday.If this keeps up I wont be able to find the groomer to go out !

that picture definately gave me some chubbage!

Anything you need there Turbo? got a nippin flask? hot chocolate? plenty of CD's? you have a CD player eh? everything to keep you warm in that Deere? :celebrating: Many thanks to people who take the time to volunteer and run these trails! wouldn't be what it is without ya!

Dale started running on 131,turner rd,and the Valley between m-66 and 131 today.He will be running daily.Ive been doing some last minute rebuilding on the horny drag,and putting the new phone system in the tractor. Jerry and I will begin running the blue bear thursday am,and it will be run daily untill the new unit arrives around 1 jan. regular runs on the Alba connector will begin friday night.It has been packed already,Dale did that yesterday.
