6 in of new tonite .On topof the foot that settled quickly into 9 inches. Nice fore cast too. I have not personally been out, but a friend stopped by this afternoon from FreeSoil and sad it was not too bad. Then again he has a Cat with 15,000 miles on it and will ride on frost if it will get him to snow! I am sure those that did ride around here this weekend encountered typical ealry season conditions- that being said lets pray that we hold on to this base!

thinkin' of making a midweek morning run...nuts.gif if the trails whiten" a bit more. snowfall.gif i may have to shoot back up to Reed City and try to pull off the loop through baldwin/caddy and back. think it's possible with what's on the ground? hit the trail by 8a, and be back to the truck by noon in order to make it to work. 3gears.gif

We rode 150 miles around the Irons/Wellston/Dublin/Cadillac area over the weekend. Fresh powder most of the ride, but we stayed off the main trails and stuck to the Seasonal Roads, ditches and fields. Great snow most of the day until later Saturday afternoon when the trails turned mostly to mud. Looks like they got hit with some more snow Sunday and it's gonna continue to stay cold and snowy all week.

This is the first year in a long while that we got out the first weekend of the season........wooohooo!

Ok update time.Since my last post we have gotten at LEAST 9 more inches. It has not stopped snowing yet! I was out @ LPL today doing some things and noticed that we definately have more snow west of M-37 than LPL does. This is the first time since 95-96 that we have gotten any real snow this early. Downside=temps in the high 30's to 40 on the weekend. Hardly a soul out today maybe 10 sleds...
