All of you guys that went north today how were the trails?
JumpJunky
Put on almost a hundred miles in the Cadillac area. Trails are now done and need snow. Got to break in the new sled, though.
Snobooger
Rode 120 miles out of Reed City. Went up through Caddy and hit the usual spots! Coyote Crossings, Boon Fire and LPL...Rick was informing someone from "downstate" that they had 17" with 2-5" expected...had to laugh! :celebrating:
Trails were pretty good considering...White Pine was great on the ride up and lean on the ride back. Caddy had a nice brown ribbon down the middle after noon.

We put on about 100 miles around the Lost Pines / Harrieta area. Not bad for the first ride, some areas excellent, some snirty/wet, all in all not too bad. Nice trip :div20:

Put on 160 miles today, started in gaylord at 9 am and rode to Lewiston, the trails had 6 inches of untoched powder and were awesome!! Then we rode back to Gaylord and over to the Waters area, trails we showing a lot of dirt and they need more snow. There callin for snow every day up there so hopefully by next weekend they should be good to go. Had to test out the new setup on the sled this weekend and had a good time!!

Just happy that the season has begun!!! :beerchug:

We got 110 miles in the Northern Newaygo and Southern Lake County area. Early trails were pretty good, but by the time we headed back south, it was getting pretty muddy. Roads are shot and the mud holes are NOT frozen yet. Nice to get out for the first time.

The powder here in Houghton wasnt powdery... very wet and heavy. Turned to mush as soon as you drive over it. dunno.gif
