just notice a couple people out ice fishin on Ottertail lake...right across the road from my house...there is a good 3-4 inches out there...i might be out there tomarrow....anyone else been out or goin out this weekend?

I will be up to my cabin near Emily next weekend chasing the early ice crappies. I just finished assembling my new Fish trap Yukon this afternoon and I can't wait to try it out. I spoke to my neighbor up there this morning and the ice is 5" in the middle of the lake so with this cold snap by next weekend I will be able to use the atv to get around. :banana:

we got anywhere from 4 to 8 inches here in ely on shagawa lake, putting the permanent house out tomorrow most likey, had some buddys go on a wheeler ride across a lake 2day and 2 of them broke through, luckily they were on 3wheelers and they floated. lol

My father-inlaw said that Lawrence Lake has at least 5" as of Friday in Outing. Glad to hear we are getting the same kind of reports out of the area.

went out on the lake again today...6-7 inches in the holes i drilled.

caught a nice 26" walleye tonight on my bday which was a pretty sweet gift from mother nature.

rock on....when i went out sunday got 2 walleye both under 14'' and a dozen or so perch. but was only out for about 2 hours cuz i ran outa propane.
