I do not have a 1000 but I have a 800....I have not rode it yet but I can tell you at idle it rattles but once you hit approx 2000 rpm it is very smooth!

I guess a little bit - Nothing that bothers me though.
So far I love it! it does vibrate a bit at idle, but once you pull the trigger it's a distant memory! :beerchug:
