Has anyone installed a Holtzman "Tempa flow" into their sled? If so, did it perform as claimed? Is it worth the $160.00 ? Here in western NY. the weather temps vary greatly. From what I've read... after establishing a baseline jetting setup this "Tempa-flow" kit should eliminate any temp. related jetting problems. The adds claim your sled will run all of the time like it does when the outside temp matches your jetting.
Thanks

Like mine alot....I ride my 02 800 up in Tug Hill and it can be 35 one day and 0 the next so it makes life easier plus better gas milage. For all out HP I think straight jetting is the way to go. The Tempa Flow has to react and that takes a small amount of time. Not that you notice it.

I think it's like magic. I can't get over what it did for my sled. My sled is a gas hog. It is still a gas hog, but, now the gas consumption stays the same warm day or cold day. Never fouled any plugs either.

I added a Tempa-Flow to my 01 XC8 and my buddies 02 XC7 this year. Just returned from our first trip, Munising MI, 12/14/03-12/18/03. Temps were warm a couple days, 32-35F. We checked the plugs numerous times at half throttle and WOT. Plug color was perfect in every instance. The XC7 is jetted w/500 mains, needle in center, the XC8 is 440 mains, needle dropped 1 position. Fuel mileage improved 1-2 MPG on each sled. The best we saw was 12.5MPG on the XC7 and 11MPG on the XC8.

I had it on one sled, and it worked great. I kept it when I sold the sled, and I have to get around to putting it on another one. I don't see that much temp variation, that's why I haven't hurried.
