Does anyone know how well an MBRP race can might work with a SLP pipe? My pipe and can set will be on its way soon from SLP. I heard somewhere that they work well together but I'm just trying to see if anyone has proven that to be true. If not I'll just be running the SLP combo and I will have a stock polaris ceramic pipe and an MBRP race can for sale in the near future. Thanks for any insight you may have.

if you got the full slp pipe and can, the MBRP wont fit. you need the SLP pipe for stock can. here's another option for you though, I have "The Thing" can, brand new made for the SLP pipe WITH slp can like you have. i had to send my pipe and stuff to al for the thing to be custom made. i got it back after the riding season and put a cat 900 in my sled so the can is brand new
asking $250 for the thing can, and if you order it from turboal, they are $400 which i paid. let me know what you think. i have pics of it.
you can see them at www.thesledshed.ca

I'm not interested in the thing. I'll just run the SLP combo this year and sell the MBRP.
"As well we can offer the customer a trade back value on there can. Find yourself changing sleds, just send us your old one and we will out fit you with the correct one for your new model allowing you some money on your old one. "
Does he not make one to fit the pro x zr 900 conversion? haha, what pipe are you running in that monster this year? How does everyhting fit? Sounds like one hell of a ride.

SLP pipe fitted into the chassis with custom built bikeman performance silencer.
fraufarm, get yourself a slp pipe then man. i'm only asking $250 for it and brand new. go ask turboal what the price is for a new one. your saving well over $100

Do not put a MBRP race can on your sled. I have a Prox 600 that I tried that same race can on and I lost 5-7 mph on top end speed consistantly and I used a radar gun. The problem is your enginne is designed to use back pressure from your exhaust. The MPRP doesn't creat enough pressure.
