Looks like it has been snowing there all morning. We have been up there a couple of years where there was no snow when We pulled in and We rode on 2 foot the next day. Fri. at 5:00 We roll.

I would say if this pans out and get around 12" that would be considered more than a "little squall". That's the most we could get at any one time in a year :frech32:

Hell,I've got 4 more bags in the carport, just never seem to get em in the truck when we go to Glens. After the pig roast in sept I had 4 bags,I just dropped them off at the Mancelona Food Pantry, they love it ! With all the water and mud, we could get 12" and it would still be a swamp after 19 sleds went thru.We need about a week of 10 degree days/nights before anything will amount to spit.

Think what you want about that comment being "wierd", but keep in mind that the DNR will not OK grooming startup without a 10" or so snow, and if it gets all beat up and the mudholes are not frozen, the tractor will just open them up and make them deeper. Then we are stuck with the whoops that result all year, not to mention even bigger mud holes everytime we get a thaw.
