I have a 2004 Pro X2 600 with the new style tubular drive axel.

I need to press on the new bearing on the clutch side of the drive axel.

However, I removed the old one and did not measure the depth of the bearing on the shaft.

Does anyone know how far the bearing should be inset?

isnt there a shoulder to push up to? I can look tonight for you anyways its an 03 but im sure bearing depth is the same

there should be a shoulder..where the bearing goes it is smooth, then it should be hex where the drivers for the track are, should push up to the hex.

I will take another look. Don't forget this is the large hollow tube axel that came out in 2004 and was only on the X2 models.

ok, i cant imagine that polaris would attach the bearing any differently though... but maybe they would. do you have a service manual?
