Full Version: MapSend Direct Route
Does anyone have this? Im looking for some maps for my eXplorist 500 that have more detail. My base map is pretty vague and only has real major roadways on it. Is this the right software to do what I need? Whats the difference between the CD and DVD version? Thanks

I recently bought a eXplorist 500 Traveler Bundle that came with MapSend DirectRoute NA v3 and I also acquired the Topo 3D USA v1.50. You'll prolly want the Topo over DirectRoute if you're gonna be off-road. I must say I was disappointed in the Magellan software for lack of map detail...see comparison of MapSend Topo and Mapsource Topo.
If you just bought your 500 you can get Topo 3D USA for $9.99 on a special offer from Magellan.
