I'm looking into buying a garmin legend and I was wondering are there any real disadvantages to this GPS unit? I'll be using it for snowmobiling mainly and some quading and hunting.

How do they handle the cold like -20 C or so?

I'm from Canada so I was wondering how detailed the maps are of say MB?

Does anybody else recommend something different? I'm not looking for anything to expensive (around $200 cdn) but I want it to have some decent options.

Thank You

You cant go wrong with a garmin legend. I had one and used it so much it gave out on me when I slipped on some ice and smashed it hard. I liked it so much i bought another one. I would recomend getting mapsource Topo for use on your sled and wheeler. whatever u get make sure it has mapping capabilities.
