Trail Ryder
I went to the dealer and checked out the 2007s.

I have to say that I'm not impressed with the 2007 F-Series (hokie adjestments, heavy, limited motor access, etc.), but I do like the 2007 Crossfires.

Is it just me, or is the Crossfire Chassis the main chassis that 'Cat should have offered for 2007 (in 121", 136", and longer)?

I think that it is great that AC is offering a "newer" style of a sled myself but I am also glad that they are still offering the Crossfire.

I personally think the XF is the sled to have (best of both words) but I have never rode the new F series sled so it I can not fairly judge the new chassis.....and I have not rode the XF before either but last year I asked almost every rider that I saw riding a XF what they thought and I have yet to hear a bad review about them, when I first saw the XF I was not all that impressed with them either but they have grown on me and now I think they are great!

I am picking up my new 07 XF 800 SP next week and I can not wait to try it in the trails this winter.....and maybe in the next 2 to 3 years I may give the new chassis a try and actually enjoy it....it may grow on me as well!

the only reason why i want a new sled is the forword riddign poistion and the crossfire will full fill my need once i get that not a new one until she bites the dust

I agree. I have an 06 crossfire sp and they are very similar to the 07. I love the xf and am not sure how the new f series will ride. But maybe if i ride one they will be good to.

The new chassi is much better than the crossfire. Much stronger. Only bad thing is the weight. Maybe next year they will offer a stripped raw version like the Dragon.
