i have been going to munising the ist week of december the past 2 years. i am starting to get a little nervous. might be spending my 1st part prt of my vacation sitting at home depressed. last year thee was a boat load of snow up there on dec 2nd!!!!!!!!!!

Heres what it looked like when my Nephew and sister-in-law went up during that time frame!

Got to put down first tracks in between Indian River/Wolverine last saturday, it was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Well maybe she is just building up and then she will dump snow on us for 3 or 4 straight months!!!!

Me and a bunch of buddies have a trip planned for the 14-17 up to Bergland and I am actually getting a little nervous about that? There SHOULD be snow but who knows? Everybody do a snow dance every day, and there will be snow! :beerchug:

Accuweather is repoting a rain/snow/ice on Weds 29th and than cold with snow on the 1st.
That's for Cheboygan though. Currently I have plans to go up north for the Dec 1st weekend.

I've just gotten use to the fact that we don't normally get good snow in the U.P. until early-mid January. It sucks but I don't think it's going to get any better in the near future. It may be time to find a new hobby if this keeps up. Maybe a quad is in my future.

Looks a little better today on John Dee's site. An area of 4-8" expected in the NWL Snowbelt.

Winter comes later and later every year. Heck the lake don't even have ice on them yet. It used to be a foot or more of snow by Thanksgiving for sure.
Up until the early 90s there was better than 3 feet by Christmas in the snowbelts.

Yeah it does seem like the season gets shorter and shorter every year. :banghead: last year was better than the last few years, but it wasnt good riding last year untill mid January..

Just took another glance at the weather and it is looking good. In Munising it says its going to start snowing on the 29th and go through the 2nd sooo lets pray!!!
