Full Version: throttle block screw

i was tighting the screw on the throttle block to clamp it to the bars. i hoped on the sled and heard a pop. dunno.gif checked and yup the plastic around the screw cracked. :banghead: now i cant tighten it. what do i do? i put some super glue in it but i doubt that will do anything. any ideas?

I made a 1/8 aluminum plate the shape of the bottom of the block where the screw goes in.
I drilled 4 small holes through the plate
I filled the hole in with JB weld, put the plate over it and screwed it in with small screws, and gooped the side that goes against the block.
Drilled and taped it the next day, 2 years later still good.
