I would like anything from say the Millinocket/Baxter Park area and north of that.
Thanks again

The Caribou/Van Buren/Eagle Lake/Fort Kent is a great loop to do. The trails are really well marked up there so you wont really need a gps track to know where your going but they do help plan the day. hope those helped you guys out. Zach :beerchug:

That is a great loop. Should be able to do over 200 miles along that route in a day. Plenty of gas stops also.

I can't seem to figure this out. I just got my first gps (Garmin Legend CX). I can load the tracks into the mapsource software but I can't seem to get them onto the gps. Atleast I can't see them after I do the transfer. Can anybody help me?

there should be 2 buttons with one arrow pointing away from the gps picture and one button where it points towards it, one of those will upload info to the gps. What you do before that is get the tracks opened in the program and have them in the list to the left. It kinda sounds confusing but play around with it for a bit and its pretty straitforward to do it, if you are able to at least open tracks in the mapsource program.

I do this but it doesn't do anything. The tracks are not listed in the gps anywhere and they don't show on the map. Should they show up in the saved tracks list? What am I doing wrong?

I can now get part of the eagle lake trip to load but not all of it. It also takes up half my storage for just that trip. I think there are just too many points (4700). I think I'll just have to record my own tracks.

Jlight, click on the track thathas too many points, then go to track properties. and click on filter. This will allow u too choose diferent ways to delete unecessary pts on the track. be patient a frig around with it and it becomes second nature in no time.

Think I got it figured out. They don't show up in the list of tracks though just on the map. Good enough. I'll be able to tell if I'm on the right trail. Thanks guys.
