NorthCentral PA too!
I remember when i first started hunting there was always snow the first week of deer season. When they started having bear season i can remember there almost always being some snow and definately cold weather. I know it's early but part of having good trails is having cold weather to freeze the ground. We've only been below freezing a few times so far this fall. Maybe things will take a turn in the next 2 weeks.
Heck if this keeps up i'm gonna need to mow the grass at the cabin again.

last year we had a lot of snow in bear season and people were ice fishing in deer season, then it all went to hell. so hopefully a warmer beginning will be good. :drunk:

Tug Hill will always have snow around Christmas to March.
Go north, way north Timmins or above. For your best shot.
The waiting begins usually right after you give up in April.
