2006 - 2007 FS / FST Drive Clutch Puller Part Number Correction

The drive clutch puller part number listed in the FS / FST Service manual, PN 9920472, for all 2006 - 2007 FS and FST snowmobiles is incorrect. The correct puller part number is 2872085. This is the same puller used on '00up domestic liquid twins, '99up 440 liquid, '99up 700/800 XCR FUJI w/VES, '06-07 Four Stroke. Please make the correction to page 8.4.

There are also some replacement pages 24 thru 28 for Chapter 10 rear suspension:S-06-11-01

Some of the valve shim specifications for the front and rear track shocks were listed out of order in Chapter 10 of the FS / FST service manual. The corrections affect pages 10.24 and 10.25.

In an effort to clarify the sequence in which the valve shims are installed in a shock, a new illustration of the piston valve was added. Additionally, changes were made to consolidate the part number information for both Ryde FX and Fox shocks and to the order in which all of the valve shim information is provided. In all, the corrections and changes affect pages 10.24 though 10.28.

Please print this document and insert the corrected pages in your service manual binder. These corrections will be included in next year's update packet.

Light Weight Driven Clutch Alignment Tools: S-06-09-02

This describes the proper way to use either the old PS-46998 or the new PS-47477 alignment tools to align clutches on the MY07 Polaris snowmobiles equipped with the 24 fin TSS-04 Lightweight Team Clutch. ALL MY07 Polaris snowmobiles use the TSS-04 Lightweight Team Secondary except for the '07 Wide Trak LX and the 120.

9920472 '06 and 07 FS/FST Service Manual with CD-ROM $45US list.

This is a pretty good manual, the previous year is a bad joke, this one covers both years very well. It has torque specs printed on many of the illustrations for assembly, and is pretty well indexed. Also very nice wiring diagrams in chapter 13, and on the CD version, they can be blown up as big as your eyes need them.

New FS/FST Manual Covers 2006 – 2007

Polaris Snowmobile Dealerships were recently shipped
a new FS/FST Service Manual. This 2007 Service
Manual 9920472 (binder 9921004) covers all 2006-
2007 FS/FST models. The 2006 FS/FST Service
Manual (9919763) is obsolete.

guess, they agreed with my assessment.

Do you suppose they'll take a trade in on my manual? These things aren't cheap.
