no pics but got a sitka blacktail deer, at first I thought it was a calf, but my friend told me that it is normal size, damn it was pretty small compared to the caribou or reindeer i normally catch.

i got my first dear this year in Vermont at my grandfathers trailer using the bow. Its not a bad size buck...its a 6 pointer

one of those big rack small body types, but i dont have any pictures yet...my dad has em and my scanner is broken :frech32:

Isn't it nice to shoot these 2 1/2 year olds. I still have some meat from last year but it's getting low. I have only been able to hunt 2 days so far because of work, looking forward to hunting the next 3 days. I enjoy blackpowder season the most! One shot make it count!!

I shot at a 3 pointer today but only found hair and no blood. Never found the deer. Its a shitty feeling!

No photos but 2 at my camp 4pt 168lb and 8pt on the last day 180 lb my camp is in Ferdinand VT where the deer density is very low so we are quite happy good year for us about 4 hunters total. Praying for snow for this weekend but it does not look good

Sounds like your off to a great start! Last I heard tonight on the way to work maybe snow friday night even down here in southern Vt. Hope we get it, the best thing about blackpowder season is we almost always get to hunt in snow. Take some pictures and lets us see the deer.
